Yesterday I nearly died….
Ok, a small exaggeration, but it reminded me, sometimes life doesn’t whisper a warning. It waits until you’re knee-deep (or, in my case, armpit-deep) in the unknown before it reveals what’s really going on beneath the surface.
There I was, exploring, confident, sure-footed. Until I took one step into what looked like a harmless, shallow stream… and SHLOP! Straight down into swamp mud. I sank so deep I practically discovered a lost continent. Wallet, keys, and phone all got a proper soaking. Clothes? Beyond redemption. I literally sank up to my armpits.
It felt a lot like how we deal with buried issues. From the outside, things can look calm, manageable even. But without the tools to read the landscape, we stumble headfirst into patterns we didn’t even know were running in the background.
That’s where Sanomentology changes everything. It helps to see below the surface, beyond the conscious stories, into the subconscious terrain. No more guessing the depth. No more being ambushed by assumptions.
Because real preparedness isn’t about avoiding life’s swamps. It’s about knowing what lies beneath, and being equipped to wade through it with clarity.
Lesson learned. And this time, no leeches. And a big thanks to my wife and mother-in-law for helping me to get out 😊😊
