Long ago, civilizations were built upon profound understandings of Reason and Will, two forces that shape reality and drive change. As modern science demanded empirical proof, these concepts faded from mainstream thought. Yet their significance remains undeniable, woven into the very fabric of existence itself.
Reason: The Anchor of Perception.
Reason is the force of acknowledgment, an observation of things as they are. It is centered in the brain, shaped by logic, observation, and belief. Reason constructs reality based on experience, but alone, it is passive. It defines what exists but does not push for transformation.
Will: The Driver of Change.
Will, centered in the solar plexus, embodies desire, the force that compels action and evolution. It is how we want things to be, pushing against reason to reshape circumstances and open new possibilities. Will seeks expansion and growth, refusing to accept limitations.
The Tension That Creates Reality.
The difference between Reason and Will generates tension, the dynamic energy within the strings that make up reality. This tension dictates change, taking one of two paths:
- Reason shifts to match Will: Reality transforms as intention manifests. Action, inspiration, and unseen forces align to shape the desired outcome.
- Will submits to Reason: Dreams fade as one accepts what is, letting go of ambition and possibility.
This inner tension is the driving force of all change, and the root of emotional states tied to ambition, frustration, and hope. Every emotion and every issue you experience is a result of this tension or lack of.
Intention and Intuition: The Forces Guiding Change.
When we set intention (inner tension), we create the condition for transformation. Intuition (inner tuition) emerges from higher levels of consciousness, guiding reason to move toward will, helping manifest desires through insight, opportunity, and aligned action. Ignoring intuition leads to stagnation; without belief, action, and trust in its guidance, goals dissolve into unfulfilled potential.
Sanomentology uses these key principles, showing how Reason and Will can be harnessed to consciously change, heal, grow, and shape reality itself.
The ancients understood these forces well, perhaps it’s time for you to remember them too.
